Coral Sea Resort Airlie Beach

Coral Sea Resort is situated on a point with fantastic views over the Coral Sea. One of the first impressions visitors to Airlie Beach have are the outstanding sea views as you drive along Shute Harbour Road. At the Coral Sea Resort, those views are with you every minute and add an island flavor to your whole stay.

You can book standard rooms, rooms with ocean views or luxury Coral Sea Suites, which are magnificently furnished and have outdoor spa, double hammock and panoramic views. There is an on-site bar and restaurant, which serves good food plus the Gazebo which is an a la carte service.

Just minutes from Airlie Beach village, the lagoon, shops and nightlife, guests at the Coral Sea Resort are really in a prime position to enjoy the tropical ambiance that is the Whitsundays.

Great position, nice staff but totally overpriced. We stayed for 3 nights in a cheaper room which was pretty grubby and in need of refurbishment. Loved the pool, didn't eat there as we were in Airlie most of the time for our meals or off on a cruise, so can't comment on the restaurant, but the rooms were very disappointing. Can't rate it more than 3 stars.

We stayed 4 nights on our honeymoon and must say we had a good time. The room had a nice view over the ocean and the swimming pool was fantastic. It rained a bit while we were there so we snuggled in our room a fair bit. We liked how close it was to the shops and bars and could walk to them in a couple of minutes. We would go there again.
