Moving to Whitsundays

by John on August 25, 2010

Airlie Beach LagoonThis time next week the removalists will be here to take our household goods and furniture to our new house in Airlie Beach. We are excited to say the least.

Our plans are to begin a series of daily photographs of the Airlie Beach, Cannonvale, Shute Harbour areas, plus the Whitsundays Islands, with the aim of showing the world just how beautiful the Whitsundays are. We are also going to visit the Great Barrier Reef regularly and take underwater and arial photography, which will be showcased from our Funtours website.

We will also be continuing to travel Australia and New Zealand so we can give unbiased reviews of tours and hotels, even though living in one of the world’s most perfect settings will be hard to leave from time to time.

So until next week we will be busy packing and cleaning in preparation to moving into our paradise home. Watch for updates to this blog and those photographs that we will post of Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays. It will be hard work but I guess someone has to do it!

New house on the beach? Oh wow, that indeed is like paradise and will be difficult to leave, even for short trips. I -and the rest of the world- really envy you (and looking forward to see some pics, too). Good luck with packing, though, that most of the time seems like hell.

Thanks Elli.
You were spot on with the comment that packing seems like hell. The unpacking is much more enjoyable but after a week we are still at it. We have been out with our cameras and trying out underwater photography, so will be posting many photos of the beautiful Whitsundays soon.
