Blue Mountains Scenic Flight
Although Von Richtoffen, known as The Red Barron, flew in a Fokker aircraft, the Pitt Special biplane was designed by Curtis Pitts in 1949 to resemble the Albatross biplane that Richtoffen started flying at the beginning or the Great War. The Pitts Special aircraft is well suited for scenic flights and aerobatics displays and you will have fabulous views of the famous 3 Sisters rock formation when flying over Katoomba and Scenic World. The Blue Mountains are known the world over for the beautiful views and deep valleys, so hang on tight for the best way to see the Australian landscape. On the way back to Bankstown Airport Sydney, your pilot will give you an extra thrill by undertaking a few aerobatics movements, perhaps a loop or a roll so you can have special memories of your flight. This is something very special and would make the perfect gift for someone who is hard to buy for. I am sure you know someone who would love to fly in the Red Barron!
