Red Barron Blue Mountains Scenic Flight
As
a special gift, there is nothing better than a scenic flight in an old
2 wing biplane called the Red Barron. You will fly in a genuine Pitts
Special S2A aerobatics biplane, just like Baron
Von Richtoffen flew during the first world war.
A Red Barron joy flight is something
that a lot of people have wanted to do all their lives, there's something exciting and adventurous about a 2 wing airplane that makes the adrenaline rush just thinking about it. Now it's
possible thanks to Red Baron HQ, Bankstown.
Although Von Richtoffen, known as The Red Barron, flew in a Fokker
aircraft, the Pitt Special biplane was designed by Curtis Pitts
in 1949 to resemble the Albatross biplane that Richtoffen started flying
at the beginning or the Great War.
The Pitts Special aircraft is well suited for scenic flights and aerobatics
displays and you will have fabulous views of the famous 3 Sisters rock
formation when flying over Katoomba and Scenic World.
The Blue Mountains
are known the world over for the beautiful views and deep valleys, so
hang on tight for the best way to see the Australian landscape.
On the way back to Bankstown
Airport Sydney, your pilot will give you an extra thrill by undertaking
a few aerobatics movements, perhaps a loop or a roll so you can have
special memories of your flight.
This is something very special and
would make the perfect gift for someone who is hard to buy for. I am
sure you know someone who would love to fly in the Red Barron!
