Port Stephens Nelson Bay 4WD Adventure Tour includes Dolphin Cruise
3
hours north of Sydney lies Sandy Bay, an idyllic unspoiled coastal area, with
sandy beaches and amazing marine life.
Nelson Bay is home to large pods
of bottlenose dolphins. It is also a great area to see Humpback whales on
their yearly migration to warmer waters off the Queensland coast for
breeding and again on their return journey to the Antarctic waters.
This is the place where dolphins play and this is where you will enjoy the main feature of this day tour from Sydney, the fabulous dolphin cruise.
We recently took this bus tour expressly to make a review and just loved the Port
Stephens dolphin cruise. It is simply awesome to see these
wonderful creatures run the bow of the cruise vessel, plus you get to
see an absolute natural wonder along our east coast that you would otherwise drive past.
Stockton Bright Sand Dunes are the largest continuous sand mass in
eastern Australia stretching some 32 kilometers along the coast and
are roughly a mile wide.
The Stockton
Beach dunes are a magnificent haven for a variety of birdlife and
are a natural playground for four wheel drive enthusiasts. You will
have a wonderful adventure by 4WD vehicle on the dunes of Stockton Bright
and if your young enough, or young at heart, take the opportunity to
go sandboarding down some huge sand dunes.
Plus you visit the Australian Reptile Park for 45 minutes on the way to Port Stephens, with entry included in the price. Sydney day tours don't get better than this!
