Located on Belmore Road, Randwick, with a great bus service directly into the city passing the door, you are assured of a comfortable and quiet stay in a good location to both Royal Randwick Racecourse and the Sydney cricket and football stadiums at Moore Park. Randwick is conveniently located from the heart of Sydney (6kms) and the airport (5kms.)

The University of New South Wales is just a few blocks, while popular Coogee Beach is around a 30 minute walk from the Gemini Hotel, so you can see the while you are away from the hustle of the city traffic, you are close to some of the great attractions that make Sydney such a popular tourist destination.

Rooms at the Gemini Hotel are modern and equipped with all the latest luxuries. All rooms have quiet air conditioning and smallish clean bathrooms. Deluxe double rooms are certainly the best and very spacious. Before you go out, inquire at reception if the hotel courtesy bus goes near your venues, this could save you a walk or save on those costly taxi fares.

Stayed here for 4 nights in March 2007 and really enjoyed the location and the service. Rooms were great, we had a large deluxe double room which was really luxurious. Bathrooms are a little on the smallish size but I didn't want to have a dance so thought it was quite adequate. We wanted to be close to the University of NSW so this hotel was ideal. We took the hotel courtesy car a few times which was great and I would rate this hotel quite high on my list of best stays. We chose the Gemini mainly for the location and was quite happy with the low price.

We chose this as we are horse racing enthusiasts and wanted to go to Royal Randwick races while in Sydney. Great location and the staff organized us into the courtesy bus, thanks guys. Rooms were good but bathroom small. Could have been a lot cleaner and we told the reception of our concerns. The room was much better cleaned the next day but this should be done, not just when someone complains. Honestly couldn't rate it more than 3 stars but wasn't the worst hotel we stayed in while in Australia.
