Just got back from 3 nights in Sydney where we stayed at the Formula 1 motel in Kings Cross. Smalll rooms but they were clean and fairly cheap for Sydney accommodation. The F1 was right near where we wanted so it proved a good choice for us. Would certainly stay there again in future.

This is a budget accommodation option for those wanting to stay in the seedy Kings Cross area. Not much better than a backpackers but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Stayed 2 nights and had some fun in the bars. Warning... Don't get too pissed cause you could get rolled.

Very cheap for room in Sydney but not good area. Very noisy nights and many drunks people. I think Australia beautiful, Kings Cross dirty area.

Reading others reviews might be a bit off putting but I found the F1 motel in Kings Cross fine. Just like most F1 motels all around Australia, they are fairly cheap with basic amenities. This was in an excellent location and Kings Cross isn't that bad, if you want a good time this is where you go.
