Canberra is some 280 kilometers south-west of Sydney and is a wonderful day tour to see not just Canberra itself, the surrounding countryside and the cities of Berrima and Goulburn. This fabulous day tour takes you from Sydney to see all the highlights and attractions of the Australian Capital City.

Canberra Day Tour from Sydney

Hop on board the bus and relax as you leave Sydney and head for the Australian Capital, Canberra. Stop at the small town of Berrima for morning tea, see historic buildings dating back to the early 1800's, before continuing through the sheep growing region of Goulburn and then onto Canberra.

Take guided tours of the Australian Parliament House and the state of the art Australian National Museum. Both guided tours are a fabulous way to see each venue and learn of the history of Australia and the everyday workings of the Parliament. Perhaps you will even see the members of Parliament at work if a sitting coincides with your visit.

Sightseeing Tour includes visiting the Canberra attractions of Australian War Memorial, Lake Burley Griffin, National Library, Science and Technology Centre and a panoramic view of Canberra from the lookout at Mt Ainslie.

It's a long day, yet well worth the bus trip with your return back to Sydney around 9.30 pm. Tour price is roughly *$150.00 AUD per person, including all entry and guided tours. Meals are not included in the price and Canberra tour operates each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
