Boulevarde Hotel Sydney

Hotel room at the Boulevarde Sydney. About a 10 minute walk from either Kings Cross or the St James Hyde Park train stations, the Boulevarde Hotel is on the fringe of the city area with fabulous city or harbour views. If you like quiet time in a lovely park setting then Hyde Park is certainly a favored spot, and you must take a stroll to have a look at St Mary's Cathedral, a most wonderful historic structure.

Rooms are good quality for the price you pay, with some rooms being refurbished. It is a good idea to go for the Deluxe City View Room which are really great value for Sydney, which is one of the dearest places for hotel's in Australia. Superior City View Rooms are quite good also and are around $25 cheaper per night.

The Boulevarde Hotel has it's own restaurant on the 25th floor and good parking facilities. This is ideal for those that are driving as the ramp is nearby that takes you on the highway north and the airport is quite easy to access from the hotel location.

Stayed for a total of 4 nights in May 2007 and found everything to be quite ok. I wouldn't call the hotel luxurious but it was certainly adequate for what we wanted and expected for the price. I would stay there again but probably pay a little extra to be closer to the city next time I am in Sydney.

Thought the hotel was excellent and can't say enough for the staff. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Food was good in the restaurant and the only thing I would say against the hotel is the distance to public transport. We took a cab most everywhere and that adds to the cost. In my opinion the Boulevarde Hotel was good value for money.
