First you enjoy a delightful cruise on a fully restored steamship, TSS Earnslaw, on Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farmstead. Walter Peak Station is a fully working sheep farm, located directly across Lake Wakatipu from Queenstown Steamer Wharf.

During the cruise you are welcome to wander around the steamer, take a look at the beautiful vessel or just sit back and enjoy the awesome views. There is tea and coffee available and the vessel has a small "museum" depicting the TSS Earnslaw's life history.

Once you get to Walter Peak Farm, you can enjoy a morning or afternoon tea of scones or pikelets and are free to wander around the farm.

You can see sheep shearing demonstrations, hand feed lambs, watch working sheep dogs and many other farm activities taking place. Walter Peak is primarily a working sheep property, so the activities are what goes on on a daily basis.

Make sure you also take a walk through the beautiful gardens of the homestead. Full of floral beds of vibrant colours and gorgeous plantings, manicured lawns and the most fragrant aromas. The gardens are a highlight of the cruise for many.

You will return from Walter Peak Farm once again aboard the TSS Earnslaw steamer, savoring the views of lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Ranges.
