Situated on Fernhill Road, you are only a minutes stroll to a bus stop that will take you to all the fabulous attractions that make Queenstown such a sought after holiday destination. With fantastic views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable Mountain Range dominating the skyline, the hotel is one of the best accommodation houses for relaxing getaways.

The Heritage Hotel has free bus passes for guests which you can use on the shuttle bus. What a good way to simply leave the car at the hotel and enjoy the scenery and the entertainment, let someone else do the driving.

With rooms to suit most travelers individual needs, most have balconies to enjoy the views and some have washing machines and dryers. Breakfast and dinner is served in the on-site restaurant with a delicious range of tempting dishes.

Nice rooms but a very busy hotel. There were bus loads of tourists on package deals and this kind of spoiled our quiet time we were trying to have.

From a visitors perspective Queenstown is a beautiful city and deserves all the tourists that flock to her. The Heritage is a good hotel option and we booked the Lake view room which is a bit more expensive but I thought it might be nicer. Was a lovely room and our 4 night stay was superb. We only used the dining in the mornings for breakfast and ate at restaurants in town in the evening. The walk back to the hotel is a little hard because of the hill, so use the free bus if you haven't got a car. I would certainly stay at the Heritage Hotel if ever in Queenstown again. You must take the gondola ride over Queenstown and certainly go to Milford Sound which is breathtaking.
