Yarra Valley Wine Tour Melbourne
This is a small group winery tour with maximum of 21 passengers per mini coach, which gives individual attention at selected wineries. You will receive tutored tastings at Yering Station, Rochford's Winery, Yering Farm and Domaine Chandon. Lunch is included, which is taken at Rochfords Restaurant and there is a light platter with champagne at Domaine Chandon in the afternoon. Yering Station is regarded as the birthplace of the Yarra Valley vineyards, being the place where first plantings of vines in Victoria occured, way back in 1838. The Yarra Valley is now world famous for it's fine chardonnay, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. Departure points are conveniently located in several Melbourne locations with tour commencing around 9.00 am first pickup point and returning to original departure points between 4:30pm - 5:00pm. This is an exceptional guided tour by the Australian Wine Tour Company and is a must do for both the serious wine buff or those seeking to widen their appreciation of beautiful wine.
