Mt. Buller Snow Tour from Melbourne

Australia has a short snow season from around July 1 to the end of September. The major snowfield resort in Victoria is found on the slopes of Mt Buller. This bus tour takes you to Mt Buller Resort for a fabulous day of fun.

Traveling time to Mt Buller from Melbourne is roughly 3 hours, so you set off for the snowfields early to get the maximum time up in the snow. Your journey takes you through the beautiful Yarra Valley to Yea, then onto Mansfield and up Mt Buller to the Ski Resort.

There are a few different packages that you are able to book that includes simply sightseeing and having fun in the snow, to using the chair lifts and having skiing lessons. Packages start from around $140.00 per person.

There's heaps of fun to be had in the snow and you don't have to know how to ski to have fun. You can ride a toboggan, make a snowman or just watch others skiing, snowboarding or falling over. I know some people who go to the snow every year and just take a sheet of black plastic to use as a sort of toboggan, and they have just as much fun as anyone.
