Melbourne City Sights and Dandenongs Afternoon Tour
There are many fine attractions around Melbourne, beautiful historic
buildings and lush, picturesque gardens and parks that are worthy of
being on any tour itinerary.
Some of the early architecture in Melbourne is especially notable for the aesthetic
beauty as well as the historic value. You will see some of the
best examples of this in buildings such as the St.
Paul's Cathedral and the Melbourne Town Hall.
You
may be able to also take a stroll in the lovely Fitzroy Gardens and view the historic
Captain
Cooks Cottage, which was was originally built in 1755 in Yorkshire
and transported from England to Australia in 1933.
The Fitzroy Gardens is one of the very best and a personal favorite. If time allows, make sure you see the Fairy Tree in the Fitzroy Gardens. It is so steeped in history and a notable heritage item.
After visiting the Shrine of Remembrance where you have a stop for photos, you head out
of the city for the beautiful Dandenong ranges and Sherbrooke Forest
where you will have beautiful views and a chance to see native Australian
animals.
Seed is provided so you can feed kookaburras and crimson rosellas,
so have the camera ready for some more magnificent photos.
