We stayed at the Wrest Point Hotel during March for a few days
and thought the hotel was fabulous. I like the easy checkin
service and found the staff very pleasant and friendly. It's
always good to be treated nice at reception as that can influence
your whole experience of a hotel. Rooms were nice but could
do with an update. Having said that everything we wanted was
there and working. Just needs to be a little more modern. I
really tried hard to think of something bad to say but I can't
really so better just end by saying I would stay there again.
Oh yeah, there is something against the hotel, it's too far
to walk to the city.

We prebooked the Wrest Point Hotel because the rooms were going
to be just a little dearer than backpackers for the 2 of us,
so we considered that a little luxury in Hobart wasn't going
to cost us dearly. For just on $80 aussie each, we had a twin
room with fabulous views across the Derwent River and the best
beds we slept in since leaving England. Just what we needed
after crappy lodgings for 3 weeks prior, a nice luxury stopover.
We didn't want to leave and go back to backpacker digs, but
all good things must end. I give the Wrest point 5 from 5, just
for the beds.
