The caves formed by the lava are said to be over 160 kms long and are home to a vast array of animals such as bats, moths and beetles. People are drawn to the Undara Lava Tubes for the natural beauty and sheer magic of walking through tunnels that were once molten lava from ancient volcanos, dating back millions of years.
