We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 room apartment and everything
was great except the price. It is so expensive at Ayers Rock
but there is nothing else out there so you just have to pay
it. At least we had a kitchen so made all our own meals and
saved that way. If there are more than 2 of you stay at the
Emu Walk hotel, it works out cheaper when you spread the costs
over a few friends.

Very clean rooms and large for us. We were 4 people traveling
together so it was a little over $100 each per night. Not cheap
but no choice. Would stay there again.

I'm not getting into that very expensive accommodation bit as
it is way out in the desert and there is no other accommodation
around for hundreds of miles. We took that into account while
planning the trip to see Uluru, so can't complain about the
prices. Emu Walk Apartments are excellent accommodation, couldn't
fault the rooms but you have to book in at the other hotel and
parking is a little away also. Good choice and very spacious
rooms.
