Auckland Bridge Climb Tour

Image of Auckland bridge climb groupHere's a bit of fun and bridge climbing is something a family can do together with children over 6 years old.

Auckland Bridge is one of the world's most recognizable bridges and has recently been modified to allow climbing tours to operate, so that visitors can see Auckland from the best vantage point, some 200 feet high over the harbour.

Many cities are now operating bridge climbs, yet there are not many that can boast such beautiful views from the summit as that Auckland offers. Dubbed the "City of Sails", climbers have the chance to view the harbour in all it's beauty and with a myriad of boats under sail, you are sure to have spectacular sights of this beautiful city.

The Auckland bridge climb is particularly cheap tour against it's counterparts, if you compare the price of climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, you will see just how affordable it is to take the tour while in Auckland. This goes for many of the attractions in New Zealand also, allowing overseas visitors to make their money go further in the worlds most beautiful country.

I have climbed the Sydney Harbour and this is just as good and about half the cost. It is not as high as Sydney Harbour Bridge but the fantastic views from the top and well worth the price. The guides were fantastic and pointed out many places of interest during the climb. In our group we had an old bloke who was 78 and he did the climb easy.

We took our 8 year old on the climb and she didn't flinch. She said she was a bit scared to look down when we got to the top but I didn't tell her that I was too. Good climb and great views. Thanks to the climb guides for making the day so enjoyable. You blokes rock.
