You can book either arrival or departure transfers and it takes around 40 minutes from airport to city depending on traffic and location of your hotel.

To get to the Sky City hotels, you would take the shuttle bus to the Britomart Transport Centre, then the free city circuit bus that operates between 8.00am and 6.00pm.

The route takes you along Queens Street, which is handy to most backpacker hostels including Nomads, Surf n Snow and YHA hostels

The wife and I used the airport shuttle bus to go to the Sky City Hotel in Auckland. We are both pensioners so got the discount and it would certainly have saved us a lot of money. The driver was great and looked after our luggage. We pulled up at the hotel and everything was fine. Good service and very affordable.

We used the airport shuttle bus for both our arrival and departure transfers in April and can say that it is a really good service. I like the way that the bus runs to a timetable and there is at the most a 30 minute wait if you just missed the bus. Got dropped off and picked up at our hotel door and very pleasant driver helped with the bags. Would certainly recommend this service.
