after the legendary Harold Lasseter, who said that he had discover a
hugely rich
reef of gold, in the outback near Alice Springs, but couldn't recall
the actual location, Lasseters Hotel Casino is a place where you could
strike it rich without getting lost in the desert trying to find gold.
With arguably the best accommodation in Alice Springs, Lasseters Hotel is an oasis in the desert and certainly the prime hotel to enjoy the flavor of the Red Centre. Situated on Barret Drive, not far from the Alice Springs Hospital, Lasseters Casino is roughly 1.5 kilometers from the Todd Mall.
Relax by the refreshing swimming pool, have a game of tennis or play the pokies or roullette wheel at the casino, there are a host of things to do when your not out sightseeing in the vast outback. There are bars and restaurant on-site and staff are fully trained to make sure you have a great time.

Wife and myself stayed for 3 nights and thought it was okay.
Did expect something more luxurious, but then the price wasn't
too bad. Hotels in Sydney are much dearer, so for way out in
the middle of the desert it was fairly good value. We ate at
the restaurant and had a bit of a play at the casino and enjoyed
our time. Would stay there again as there is nightlife.

Just returned to the UK from our 3 week trip to Australia. We
really enjoyed our trip and thought the Central Australia region
such a desolate but pretty place. Lasseters Hotel was a very
nice hotel without being anything special. Our room was clean
and comfortable with a balcony with good views of the hills.
Staff were polite and the restaurant served good meals. Would
rate it about 3 and a half stars but you don't have a half star.

We like Lassiters Casino but don't gamble too much. Rooms good,
clean with nice views. Aircondition work good, we need it because
Alice Springs very hot.
