Relax by the large swimming pool and feed the wallabies each evening, Heavitree Gap is a marvelous place to chill out after a long day of sightseeing. For the more energetic the hotel is close to walking trails through some of the best outback country you can find and is certainly well worth the effort if you are a photography buff.

restaurant bistro bar which serves excellent food or you can use the
barbecue facilities to cook your own. Great for overnight or longer
stays, the staff will assist you in every aspect to make sure you are
comfortable and satisfied. There is a free shuttle bus into Alice Springs
for those who need transport.

Cheap hotel in a land where everything is so expensive. We stayed
one night on our way from Darwin to Ayers Rock and found it
quite okay for the price. It's certainly not luxury but it was
comfortable and a good location. Loved feeding the wallabies
in the afternoon and got great pictures.

We booked our Alice accommodation well in advance as friends
had a hard time getting rooms when they visited the Alice last
year. We were happy with the price at Heavitree Gap and the
location is terrific. Stayed for 3 nights and found the rooms
spacious but a bit tired. They could be cleaner but were livable.
Staff were great and were friendly, giving us directions to
the attractions and even asking on our second day if there was
anything we needed. I would stay there again if ever out in
the Red Centre just for the price.

Cheap hotel but not good value. Rooms urgently need an upgrade.
Best thing was the pool and the wallabies, they are cute. We
stayed 2 nights before going to Ayers Rock, which was the most
expensive place we have ever been.
